Northwest Nationals teams were busy over Memorial Day weekend.  The club had a great showing over the weekend at both the Rainier Challenge in Puyallup, WA and the Starfire Memorial Day tournament.  Northwest Nationals had 10 teams entered in the tournament with 5 teams advancing to the Semi-Finals in their respective age groups and 4 of the 5 teams advanced to the Finals. 

The GU14 Rayos, coached by Leighton O’Brien enjoyed a great tune up for LPT’s by winning the GU14 Super Bracket.  In addition the BU12 Red team defeated WPFC Black 3-1 to take the BU12 Super Title. The BU11 Red team lost a heart breaker in penalty kicks in the Semi Finals of the BU11 Super bracket.  Meanwhile, the BU13 Arsenal lost in the Finals of the BU13 Super group and the GU12 Red team lost 1-0 to the defending Oregon State Champions after beating them earlier in the tournament. 

A few miles North the Northwest Nationals Allegra with some guest players from Northwest Nationals Nemesis advanced to the Semi Finals of the Starfire Memorial Day tournament losing to the eventual tournament champions.
