Northwest Nationals Welcomes Amy Griffin - New Goalkeeping Director
Northwest Nationals Premier Soccer Club is excited to announce that Amy Griffin, UW’s Associate Head Coach and GK Coach for the past 11 years will be joining Northwest Nationals effective immediately.  It’s rare to find a high blend of soccer knowledge contained in such a classy individual & we’re confident in the positive impact she will have on the clubs goalkeepers.  Amy will be the new NWN Goalkeeping Director for boys & girls as Charles Granade is stepping away due to work commitments but will remain coaching his BU13 Arsenal Team.

In addition to her tenure at University of Washington, Amy currently is on staff with the US National Team U-16 team.  NWN goalkeepers wanting to know what it takes to develop and carry your game to the next level, Amy has the experience as a player, college coach and US National Staff coach to guide you.  No other club around has a US National Staff member coaching the kids in the club.

Amy is a great addition to the club so please join me in welcoming her (upon her return from National Camp) with open arms and a great turnout for her sessions.

You’ll note on the NWN website (http://www.nwnationals.org/GKTraining/index_E.html) that the schedule format has changed a little.  This is to aid in GK’s needing to attend both team & positional training.  This should allow for goalkeepers to attend team training at least one day and also be able to attend Amy’s session.  If you have any questions, contact Amy at amygriff@u.washington.edu
Please see Amy’s BIO on our website at - http://www.nwnationals.org/Coaches/AmyGriffin/index_E.html
