Emi Lawson of the Northwest Nationals Premier Soccer Club and Shoreline, Wash., has been selected as one of 96 players for the adidas Elite Soccer Program (ESP).

Lawson, a central defender who plays for the NWN 91 Red, attended the top-level training sessions Feb. 21-24 in Pomona, Ca.

Former U.S. national team coach Tony DiCicco is the ESP technical advisor and among the camp coaches were former World Cup stars Cindy Parlow of. The U.S. and Sissi of Brazil.
