Northwest Nationals Winter Academy dates have been set and registration opens Jan. 22 for the weekly sessions, which begin Feb. 8. Providing their coaching expertise and encouragement will be Eugene Poublon, Kei Kinoshita, Mark Szabo, Morgan Perry and Sophie Spickard.

The Winter Academy is for boys and girls ages 7-11, and the instruction focus is on fundamental skill development, dribbling, passing, shooting and small-sided games.  All sessions will be held at Meadowdale High School Stadium from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Sunday evenings from Feb. 8 through Mar. 15.

Enrollment for the seven sessions is $130 (NWN & Mukilteo Youth SC players are $110) and each player receives an NWN T-shirt.

Each player should bring their own ball and water to each academy session and, please, be sure your child wears shin guards.
