COACHING EXPERIENCE

Director of Coaching with NWN since 2004

Eugene has coached ’A’ and ’B’ teams in our club since he began coaching with us in 2004. He has taken club teams to seven state finals, winning three state titles. Four other Nationals teams that Eugene has coached have advanced to the state semi-finals. His teams have won Nomads, the Orange Classic, been a semi-finalist in the prestegious Surf Cup Super Group, participated in the WAG’s Showcase, the Texas Shootout Showcase, and the Pleasanton Rage Showcase. Dozens of Eugene’s players have gone on to compete at various levels of college soccer over the years.

PLAYING EXPERIENCE

Eugene played eight years as a youth in the Netherlands in the AZ Alkmaar and AFC Ajax programs. He was a member of the 1988 club which won the national indoor title in The Netherlands.

Eugene played one season for the Seattle Sounders in USL Division 1 in 1998.
