The Winter 2013 Northwest Nationals Academy, for all SSCYSA players in the U8-U12 age groups, provides an outstanding opportunity for serious and dedicated young soccer players to challenge themselves and develop the skills necessary for higher level competition. Through games and drills focused on dribbling, ball mastery, passing and receiving, shooting and small sided tactical games, players will develop the fundamental skills, techniques essential to moving their game to the next level.
The Northwest Nationals curriculum will be delivered by our technical coaching staff and directed by Youth Director Eugene Poublon. This will ensure that each player will not only learn from the best coaches around, but will also benefit from the passion, care and dedication that only the Northwest Nationals staff can provide.
The Winter Player Development Academy consists of 4 (1.5 hour) sessions on Sunday evenings. This program will stimulate every young player’s development while allowing them to enjoy the benefits of continuing to play with their existing clubs and teams. The four Sunday sessions are January 27th, February, 3rd, 10th, and 24th with all sessions running from 6:30-8:00pm at Mountlake Terrace High School.
