Happy holidays, indeed!

The Northwest Nationals Girls 92 Red won the U15 title at the FieldTurf Cup over the Thanksgiving weekend.

The 93 Reds won all five games, including a 2-0 defeat of the Langley Mustangs in the final at Starfire Sports Complex. Meanwhile, the NWN 92 Blues went 1-2-1 in their four games.

At the Nomads Thanksgiving Tournament in La Jolla, Calif., four NWN boys teams were in action. The 90 Reds (1-2-0), 91 Reds (1-1-1) and 93 Reds (1-1-1) each took third in their group, while the 92 Reds (0-3-0) were fourth.

Finally, at the San Diego Surf Cup XXVII, the NWN 90 Reds were 0-3-0 in the girls U17 gold division.

Earlier at Starfire, three Nationals boys teams fared very well in the inaugural U.S. Club Washington Cup, Nov. 9-11. The 95 Red won the championship while 94 Red and 93 Blue were finalists.
