Mark your calendars for May 10th a huge NWN’s Day at Qwest Field to cheer on the Seattle Sounders for their season opener vs Portland!  We are looking for as many teams, coaches, players and families as possible to make this an activity to remember.  Not only will we show our true spirit as an organization but we can also support the Girls U-13 team’s effort to raise money through the 50/50 raffle to go to Regionals this summer in Hawaii .  

When: May 10th, 7 PM (Sounders kick off)

Where: Qwest Field

Event: Seattle Sounders vs Portland

Cost: $13 for players, coaches and parents

In addition to the hotly contested rivalry between the Sounders and Portland , the events planned are team games on Qwest Field, Team Escorts, Mini halftime games, and a rally tunnel.  Prior to the Sounders’ activities, the NWN U-11 Boys 97 Red will play in a friendly against the Issaquah FC U-11 Boys team at 1:00pm on Qwest Field.  Following this match, from 2:30-5:30, we will have as large of a tailgate party and picnic as possible.  Contact your team manager about the tailgate party/picnic, and about signing up and purchasing tickets as a club.  Remember to wear your NWN jersey, sweats and other gear so that we can show our organizational unity.  Let’s cheer on the Sounders to victory and help them usher in a season to remember.  See Sounders Flyer attached for more details!
