The NWN G96 Red team took the Championship for the second consecutive year at the US Soccer Club Regionals.  After three wins in group play - THUSC Mercury (1-0), Saprissa (1-0) and Purple Reign (5-0), the team beat DOS (1-0) in the semis and faced Crossfire in the championship game.  The final went into overtime and ended with a 1-0 win!  Congratulations to Coach Vadim Tolstolutsky and all of the girls for a great tournament.

NWN G97 Red advanced to the championship game after wins against EFC 97 Red (3-0), and Washington Rush 6-1, and a draw with Beaverton’s THUSC Iridium(2-2). In the final game the team faced Crossfire Premier and gave up their first loss of the summer with a final score of 2-3.  Well done Coach Mel Craig and all of the players.
