New Bylaws Adopted, Nominations Needed, and Elections Coming Soon!
NWN Meeting on Saturday night, October 3rd, the members of NWN unanimously approved new bylaws for the club.
There are now a number of important dates to remember:
- October 9th - This is the deadline for nominating candidates for the following six Board positions: President, Secretary, and 4 at-large Board of Director positions. Nominations must be sent to the Executive Director and CEO of Washington Youth Soccer, Terry Fisher, at terry@wsysa.com.
- October 18th - This is the deadline for each team to select a voting delegate (and alternate) and to notify the Club secretary, Cathy Jackson at: nwnadmin@comcast.net, of that selection.
- November 1st - The voting delegates for the teams will meet to address the election of board members and to conduct other business as necessary. It is important that all voting delegates (or their alternates) attend this meeting. The meeting is also open to all coaches and parents.
Once candidates for the Board positions are identified, their names and statements will be posted on the NWN website. We will also post additional information if any questions arise over the next month.
