Our girls 95 Red reached the semi-finals at the recently concluded Mustang Stampede, just east of the Bay Area in California.

It proved to be an amazing time at the tournament as our G95 Red team faced off with some of the best teams in Northern California.  Each game was exciting as our girls turned and burned to push their way to the semi-finalist spot. In group play, the girls faced tough competition on their way to posting a 1-1-1 record in group play.

 

The highlight of the tournament came in the quarterfinal with a HUGE win against G95 Mustang Fury FC which is currently the 2nd ranked team in the country within this age group.  Our girls battled through regulation and two overtimes before prevailing in kicks from the mark to reach the semi’s. A tough 1-0 loss followed the great win against Mustang Fury, but our girls are proud of their accomplishment in this tournament.

 

It was a such a great experience for our girls, coaches and parents.  Girls, you rock the house and we are so proud of you! A big thanks to Coach Vadim and coach Mark for bringing the girls to such heights already this year.
