NW Nationals will hold its Annual Meeting on June 21st at 6:30pm at the NWN Office, 6920 220th St SW, Suite 103, Mountlake Terrace.
In addition to addressing the regular operations of NWN, the following six NWN Board positions will be up for election at that meeting:
- Vice President
- Treasurer
- 4 At-Large positions (must be non-coaches)
A Nominating Committee is currently gathering the names of interested parties and putting together a slate of candidates for these positions, and the Committee would welcome any suggestions. If you are interested in being considered for a Board position, or would like to recommend another person, please notify one or more of the Nominating Committee members listed below. Please provide your suggestions in writing (preferably by email) and include the person’s name, and a contact email or phone number. All nominations should be submitted to the committee by May 20th.
The Nominating Committee will review all suggestions and then submit a proposed slate of candidates to the Board. At that time, candidates will be notified and will need to officially accept their nomination by submitting a statement and short bio to the Nominating Committee.
Each NWN team will select one voting representative and one alternate voting representative (coaches are not allowed to be the voting representatives). Thus, the voting membership will include one voting representative from each NWN team. If the designated voting representative is not able to attend the election, the alternate representative will be allowed to cast the vote for the team. The meeting is open to any interested parties, but per the NWN bylaws only team voting reps will be allowed to cast a vote.
